Use

This service loss reason defines that service loss has occurred because the sales order items or schedule lines are flagged as abnormal demand in SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM). This indicator shows that the sales order quantity deviates from the normal quantities by an abnormal amount.

Features

Service Loss Schedule Line with Abnormal Demand

If the Abnormal Demand indicator is set for the service loss schedule line being checked for this service loss reason, the complete service loss quantity can be assigned to this service loss reason.

Service Loss Schedule Line Without Abnormal Demand

If the Abnormal Demand indicator is not set for the service loss schedule line being checked for this service loss reason, this service loss reason can still apply under the following conditions:

  • Service fill schedule line with abnormal demand

    A service fill schedule line from the same sales order fulfils the following conditions:

    • The Abnormal Demand indicator is set for this service fill schedule line.

    • The last requested delivery date/time at all delivery locations is during the throughput time from the first stockholding location to the main supplier.

  • Other service loss schedule line with abnormal demand

    Another service loss schedule line from the same sales order fulfils the following conditions:

    • The Abnormal Demand indicator is set for this service loss schedule line.

    • The reference date/time of this service loss schedule line is during the throughput time from the first stockholding location to the main supplier.

    • The service loss quantity assigned to the service loss reason Abnormal Demand is less than the customer-requested quantity.
