Calling Sequencing Choose .
The
Sequencing
screen appears.
Enter a
Planning Version
.
In the
Planning Horizon
area, enter the time period you want to display.
Enter the line network or a part of the line network. This may be a group of alternative lines, a line or also a buffer.
The system uses this entry to determine the planning segment. A differentiation is made between the following cases:
If the line you enter is the planning segment and this is the only planning segment, you gain direct access to the sequence schedule.
If there is only one line which is defined as the planning segment, but you enter another line, you receive a dialog box displaying the line which is defined as the planning segment.
If you enter a line network which contains several lines which belong to the planning segment, you receive a dialog box where you have to select a line.
Note
The lines displayed in the dialog box may be parts of various line networks if several production versions exist for the product, such as, production version 1 with line network A and production version 2 with line network B or various production versions due to partial line networks, for example.

The system reads the available operating time of the line resource and the planned orders that lie in the time period, and then accesses sequencing in
display mode
.
Sequencing only displays the time period you specified in the navigation tree. In the
Dispatched Orders
details area, no orders are displayed yet.
You can select the time period you want to look at in the
Dispatched Orders
area, by:
Double-clicking on a day or a shift
Dragging a day or a shift to the data area with drag & drop
Selecting a period and then choosing
Display Dispatched Orders
with the right mouse button.
If you want to display a larger period of time, you can also select several days by holding down the Shift key or the Ctrl key.
Note
The system displays the lists in the data area with the SAP List View (ALV), which is used in many SAP applications and which offers many generic display functions. For more information on the SAP List Viewer see the documentation

You can only move to change mode of sequencing if all the orders in the planning horizon of the navigation tree, have order quantity 1, and are dispatched in takts.
If this prerequisite is not fulfilled, carry out
takt-based scheduling
first with an order split by choosing
. After takt-based scheduling, you will automatically be in the change mode.
If you do not want to schedule the entire planning horizon in takts, which you have displayed in the navigation tree, you can reduce the horizon beforehand. To do so, select the days in the navigation tree in blocks that you want to exclude, and choose
.
If the prerequisites are fulfilled, choose
to move to change mode.
You have called up sequencing and switched to the change mode. You can now process the sequence of the scheduled orders manually, start a process or recalculate the restriction violations.
