Sometimes a device type is not installed in your system.

Procedure

You can install the missing device type in two ways:

  • In the traditional way, as described in SAP Note 6427.

  • You can also use the (Unicode) device type wizard to install the device type:

    1. On the initial screen of the wizard, choose Install Device Types.

    2. Follow the instructions in the window that appears.
