 Initial Distrib. of iPPE Data Using ALE (Report DI_RBDSE_PPE)

Use

You use this report when you want to transfer iPPE data for the first time from the DIMP system to clients in the same system, to other SAP systems, or to external systems.

Prerequisites

The dependent objects (materials, change numbers, classes, characteristics and supply areas) must exist in the target system or target client.

Features

  • The system uses the specified material, plant, and production version to determine the corresponding structures in iPPE and transfers the structure to the defined logical system or systems.

  • You can define the maximum size for IDocs in iPPE Customizing under Define General iPPE Customizing .

Procedure

  1. In the iPPE Workbench Professional menu, choose Start of the navigation path Environment Next navigation step Distribution. End of the navigation path

  2. The DI_RBDSE_PPE screen appears.

  3. Enter the material number , plant , and production version for the iPPE data that you want to transfer and enter the logical systems to which the data is to be transferred.

    When you do not enter a logical system, the systems defined in the distribution model are used.

    You define the distribution model in Customizing for Basis Components, under Start of the navigation path Distribution (ALE) Next navigation step Modeling and Implementing Business Processes Next navigation step Maintain Distribution Model and Distribution Views End of the navigation path .

  4. Choose Execute .

    The Selected Production Versions screen appears. Choose Display Log to display the messages that occurred in the source system during the transfer.
