Use

This screen shows options that you can configure for the SAP system. Currently, there is only one option.

Online Index Creation

This feature is only available when monitoring the local SAP system.

You find it in the DBA Cockpit under Configuration → SAP Configuration. This feature allows indexes to be built without blocking modifications to the table. SAP has implemented a flag, which tells the Data Dictionary to use the new online index creation method when building indexes. This screen shows for the local SAPsystem whether this flag is set or not. There is also a button to switch the flag on or off.
