You can choose between the following analysis and monitoring functions for Service Parts Planning (SPP):

Furthermore, in the basis for SAP Supply Chain Management 5.1 (SAP SCM 5.1), a framework is available that contains the settings for these supply chain analytical applications.

You can also analyze and report on the quality of SPP planning processes in the SAP Business Warehouse. For more information, see Reporting on Planning Quality.

Integration

Inbound Delivery Monitor

To be able to use the inbound delivery monitor, you must be using the following components:

  • SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (SAP APO) of SAP SCM 5.1

  • SAP ERP 6.0

  • SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM) of SAP SCM 5.1

  • The Business Intelligence System of SAP NetWeaver 2004s

Shortage Analysis and Alert Monitor

To be able to use the shortage analysis, you must be using the following components:

  • SAP APO of SAP SCM 5.1

  • SAP Supply Network Collaboration (SAP SNC) of SAP SCM 5.1

  • One of the following components to obtain sales order data:

    • SAP ERP 6.0

    • SAP CRM 5.2

Supplier Delivery Performance Rating

To be able to use the supplier delivery performance rating, you must be using the following components:

  • SAP APO of SAP SCM 5.1

  • SAP SNC of SAP SCM 5.1

  • The Business Intelligence System of SAP NetWeaver 2004s

Monitoring Overdue Purchase Order and Scheduling Agreement Release Schedule Lines

  • If you want to use report SPP_REP_DUE to monitor overdue purchase order and scheduling agreement release schedule lines, you must be using SAP SNC of SAP SCM 5.1.

  • If you want to use report SPP_REP_DUE7 to monitor overdue purchase orders, orders, and SA releases, you must be using SAP SCM 7.0.

Service Fill Monitor and Service Loss Analysis

To be able to use the service fill monitor, you must be using the following components:

  • SAP APO of SAP SCM 5.1

  • The Business Intelligence System of SAP NetWeaver 2004s

  • One of the following components or component combinations to obtain sales order data and goods issue data:

    • SAP CRM 5.2 and SAP EWM of SAP SCM 5.1

    • SAP CRM 5.2 and SAP ERP 6.0 Enhancement Package 3

    • SAP ERP 6.0 Enhancement Package 2 and SAP EWM of SAP SCM 5.1

    • SAP ERP 6.0 Enhancement Package 3

    • The services of the service-oriented architecture for business applications (Enterprise SOA) for the following business objects:

      • SalesOrder

        When you use this business object, the system transfers the required data using the following message interfaces:

        - SalesOrderCancelledInformationMessage_IN

        - SalesOrderChangedInformationMessage_IN

        - SalesOrderCreatedInformationMessage_IN

      • OutboundDelivery

        When you use this business object, the system transfers the required data using the message interface DeliveryInformationMessage_IN.

To be able to use the service loss analysis in the service fill monitor, you require the following:

  • SAP SNC of SAP SCM 5.1

  • A configured service fill monitor (see above)

  • A configured inbound delivery monitor (see above)
