Procedure documentation Modifying Manager or Service Properties  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

This procedure enables you to change service or manager properties. When you select a service or manager their keys and values are displayed in the right-hand pane.

The properties are divided into two sections:

      Global properties

They contain global configuration settings for managers or services, valid on all cluster elements. These properties contain custom and default values. Default values cannot be changed.

Note

If you are on instance level and set a custom value for a global property, then the property is added to the Local properties list.

      Local properties

During installation time, some of the global properties are changed and configured for each cluster element that is created. Changing the global properties enables you to create local settings for a particular cluster element. The local properties also contain custom and default values. The default values come with the installation of the J2EE system and cannot be changed.

From the cluster-data tree, select a manager or service whose properties you want to modify.
