Configuring the Connections Between the ABAP and Java Stacks of CEN 

Use

Use this task to:

●      create a JCo RFC connection from the J2EE Engine of CEN to the ABAP stack of CEN

●      activate the GRMG availability monitoring of the J2EE Engine.

Procedure

In the SAP NetWeaver Administrator of CEN, do the following:

       1.      From the top-level navigation, choose Deploy and Change → Configuration Wizard.

       2.      In the Configuration Task screen area, select NWA_04_Creating a connection to the ABAP stack of CEN and Starting heartbeat monitoring.

       3.      Choose Start.

       4.      After the execution of the task has finished successfully, choose Return to task list to return to the Configuration Tasks screen.
