Set-Up Message Creation via Web Browser

Use

Users who have no access to an SAP system, can create a message for your service desk in a web browser, with the BSP application dswp_create_message. The message system data is captured automatically in the background and sent to the service desk in the Solution Manager system.

Prerequisites

You have installed the BSP application according to the SAP notes 699087 and 742691.

Procedure

The Internet Communication Framework (ICF) path to the BSP application dswp_create_msg input screen is:

/sap/bc/bsp/sap/dswp_create_msg/msg_new.do

       1.      Enter the name of your SAP Solution Manager web application server, the port number, and the client, in the URL:

http://<host>:<port>/sap/bc/bsp/sap/dswp_create_msg?sap-client=<client>

       2.      You can create an alias/quick link to the BSP application, to simplify the message creation BSP application call. For further information, see Internal Aliases.
