Archiving in SAP Event Management 
If you no longer need event handlers, event messages, or event handler sets, you can either archive and delete them, or you can delete them without previously archiving them. If you delete event handlers, event messages, or event handler sets, SAP Event Management also deletes any existing change documents (see Logging with Change Documents).
You can archive the following business objects in SAP Event Management:

In addition to calling archiving via the archive administration (transaction SARA), you can also schedule archiving as a regular background job.

You have specified the archiving object-specific Customizing for the archiving objects. For more information, see Customizing for SAP Event Management under . The following archiving objects are delivered for SAP Event Management in the standard system:
