Planning regards the virtual location for consolidated ordering (VLCO) as a planning location. All stock, and all receipts and issues of a certain product into and from the individual locations are aggregated and consolidated at the preferred location.
The use of a VLCO is best suited to products that only have to be ordered in small quantities.
