A set of planning data for an SCM supply chain model. The model contains only master data, whereas the planning version contains master data and transaction data.
For simulation purposes, it is possible to create different planning versions of each supply chain model, but at any point in time, only one model and one of its versions is active. The active model and active version are both labeled 000.
The results of planning activities in different planning versions cannot be copied into the active version. The planning activity must be repeated in the active planning version.
