Define new order intervals using the Order Interval — Setup window. The order interval definition affects the MRP planning calculations for the corresponding item. Order Interval
Cycle Code

Specify a code for the order interval.

Recommendation Recommendation

Use the short description of the frequency definition as the cycle code, for example, 2 days, or 3 weeks. In this way, you can better view and choose a proper order interval on the Planning Data tab of the Item Master Data window.

Frequency

Specify the frequency of the order interval.

Example Example

To define an order interval of 10 days, in the dropdown list, choose Every X Days and then specify 10 in the field.

To define an order interval of 1 month, in the dropdown list, choose Monthly and then specify on which day a new interval starts.
