For the following localizations, to reflect transactions that are already in the bank statement but are not yet posted in SAP Business One, you can create a balancing transaction or document: Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Cyprus, India, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, United Kingdom, and United States.
Recommendation
When you use this localized function for manually reconciling bank statements, to avoid creating duplicate reconciliations, do not simultaneously use the external bank statement processing function (see Recording Transactions from External Statements) and the standard function for manually performing an external reconciliation (see Manually Performing External Reconciliations) for the same bank account. In addition, we recommend that you use exclusively either this function or the standard function for manually reconciling bank statements.
Note
If bank statement processing is activated in SAP Business One, you must perform external reconciliations directly within the bank statement processing functionality. Do not use this function to reconcile transactions from your bank statements. For more information, see the online help for SAP Business One and How to Use Bank Statement Processing in Release 2007 in the documentation area of SAP Business One Customer Portal at http://service.sap.com/smb/sbocustomer/documentation.
