As a user or manager, you may want to check the data that has been included in the model 340 report or generate a file for submission to the authorities. You can do so by using the tax report function.


  • You have full authorization for Tax Report Generation at   Administration   System Initialization   Authorizations   General Authorizations   Financials   Financial Reports   Accounting   Tax  .

  • You have generated, adjusted, or replaced a tax report.


  1. From the SAP Business One Main Menu, choose   Financials   Financial Reports   Accounting   Tax   Tax Report  


    The Tax Report—Selection Criteria window appears.

  2. Select the required declaration name.

  3. Select the Tax Register Book output mode.

    The Tax Report—Register Book window appears, in which all relevant transactions for the reporting period are listed. For more information, see Tax Report – Register Book Window.

  4. If necessary, you can narrow down the number of transactions by using filtering criteria. To do so, choose the Filter Table (Filter Table) icon and specify your filtering criteria.

  5. To create a submission file, choose the Create File button. Select a location in which to save the file and choose the Save button.

    The submission file is generated as a text file in the model 340 format.

    If any corrections are necessary, choose the OK button and replace the existing report. For more information about replacing reports, see Replacing a Tax Report.
