Features

This iView displays the details of a selected portfolio item’s decision points. To navigate to this iView, choose Portfolio Management and click an item. Then click Decision Points in the left navigation panel. You can do the following:

· Make changes to the decision points and save them.

· Click View Schedule Chart to display a Gantt chart view of the portfolio item and decision points.

· Revert back to a previous decision point which makes the previous decision point active and the current decision point inactive. The current decision point is displayed in the parentheses and is open by default.

Prerequisites

● You have configured each item type to have one or more decision points in Customizing by choosing Global Customizing → Portfolio Independent Settings → Define Portfolio Item Types. Select an item type. You define the decision points per item type.

● You made sure that a chart configuration to display the schedule chart of the portfolio item and the corresponding decision points with respect to forecast, planned and actual dates exists and that the configuration name has been given to this component in the J2EE administration.

Optional Settings

Following are the optional parameters that can be changed by J2EE administrator.

CONFIG_CHART: Configuration name of the schedule chart.
DISABLE_COMPLETED_DECISION_POINTS: By default all the fields of the completed decision points are disabled.
DISABLE_UPCOMING_DECISION_POINTS_STATUS: By default the Status field of the upcoming decision points is disabled. This allows having only one active decision point at a time.
