Features

This iView is used for integration with applications to upload or download project data to the following applications:

·        SAP PLM PS

·        SAP cProjects

·        Microsoft Project Server.

To navigate to this iView, choose Item Management →Item Dashboard. Select an item and then click the Upload/Download Project Data in the navigation panel. This opens the Upload/Download Project Data iView.

You can do the following:

●      Upload data (many times) from:

¡        SAP PLM PS

¡        SAP cProjects

¡        Microsoft Project

●      Download data (one time) to:

¡        SAP PLM PS

¡        SAP cProjects

¡        Microsoft Project

●      Navigate to linked project of the respective application.

●      Navigate to Microsoft Project Client upload/download project data if the project is not already linked to any application.

●      You can select the Upload from Project or Download to Project indicator.

●      You can select an application. If you choose Microsoft Project Client then the navigation goes to the Microsoft Project Client upload/download project data. Otherwise the respective list of application systems get populated.

●      Then you can select the desired application system and choose a project (upload) or template (download), by searching for it.

●      You can set the indicator to Upload from Project to upload the desired data.

●      Then you can upload/download in simulation (Except Microsoft Project server download).

●      Once the simulation succeeds then you can upload/download in real mode.

●      If the upload/download succeeds then a log will be written and will be shown in the table.

●      You can select a log to see the details and can also delete a log.

Integration

On selecting the application as Microsoft Project Client, this iView navigates to Microsoft Project Client upload/download project data. On click of the link to the linked project, this iView navigates to the respective application and shows the linked project in that application.
