Features

You navigate to this iView by choosing Portfolio Management Substitute. In the Portfolio Area field, choose Collection. In the list of collections, click a collection. In the Overview screen, in the Items in Collection area, click an item.

When you save the item data that you entered during the item creation phase, you can see this item data on this Overview screen for a particular item. In this view, you can enter, change, or delete the data.

The overview is categorized in trays. You can determine which fields are available in the trays in Customizing, by choosing SAP xApp Resource and Portfolio Management (SAP xRPM) Global Customizing Global Field Settings.

For more information about field services, see Item Overview.

Prerequisites

You have configured the item dashboard to have the Proj_Description field as a link in Customizing, by choosing SAP xApp Resource and Portfolio Management (SAP xRPM) Global Customizing Global Field Settings.

You have entered the item details link ID as an application parameter for the corresponding dashboard iView.

Optional Settings

You determine which fields are displayed and which properties are mandatory in Customizing for ABAP field UI configuration for the Portfolio Item API. Each of the categories have corresponding properties to determine which properties are visible, so the J2EE administrator can configure the default settings.

For more information, see the section about configuring API UI properties in Customizing for SAP xApp Resource and Portfolio Management (SAP xRPM) in the back-end system.
