Restore Custom Configurations 

Use

With this Web application, you can restore the pattern configurations that have been backed up earlier.

You navigate to this iView by choosing Portfolio Management → Administration. In the navigation panel, choose Restore Custom Configurations.

Prerequisites

You have backed up custom configuration.

Features

To restore the configurations, do the following:

       1.      Click Browse to locate and select the configuration file to be restored.

       2.      Click Load Configurations to load the selected file to the current view. The list of components, within the current configuration, are displayed in the list.

       3.      Navigate and select the components to be restored:

                            a.      To navigate the displayed list of configurations, use the triangles at the bottom of the displayed list. The three triangles pointing down help scroll down one row at a time, one page at a time and to the last page, respectively. The three triangles pointing up perform the same function for scrolling upwards.

                            b.      To select the configuration components, select the checkbox in the first column.

§         To select a single configuration from a list, click the corresponding checkbox.

§         To select multiple configurations, hold down the CTRL key and click the checkboxes corresponding to the configurations.

§         To select a block of configurations, hold down the SHIFT key and check the first and last configuration of the block.

§         Choose Select All to select all configurations.

§         Choose Unselect All to de-select all configurations.

       4.      Click Restore.
