Features

You use this iView as fast overview and entry screen for project and role staffing and resource allocation across multiple roles, projects, and resources. A typical user for this application is the responsible resource manager, or the staffing manager, for any given project.

The staffing table allows the resource manager to see all projects, their roles and resources assigned to the roles. On expanding a project, the detail data of demand and total allocation and the allocation per role is displayed. On expanding a role, detailed data per assigned resource is displayed.

The resource manager has the option to either maintain allocation per resource in the individual periods of the table or to maintain this data across a certain data range using the Advanced Distribution functionality.

You navigate to this view, by choosing Resource Management. Then click Staffing in the navigation panel.

You can use the following functions:

·        Hierarchical viewing and editing of projects, roles and their assigned resources.

·        Vertical and horizontal toggling.

·        Editing role allocation per period.

·        Editing role allocation across multiple periods in advanced distribution.

·        Search/filter on projects.

·        Link to role details (cProjects).

·        Link to role staffing details (cProjects).
