You use the table filter to set different filter criteria to limit the potentially large number of collaborations, status profiles, and user groups in the current overview. This provides you with a quick and clear selection of the collaborations, status profiles, or user groups you are currently working on.
You created several collaborations, status profiles, or user groups and have set the table filter for them.
The table filter is available for the following objects:
· Collaborations
You can use the table filter for collaborations in all three scenarios, that is, in Collaborative Scenarios, Competitive Scenarios, and in Standards.
For Collaborations, the filter criteria can be:
¡ General filter criteria
These criteria allow you to limit your selection of collaborations by the metadata of the collaboration, such as name, description, creation date, and so on.
You can use the Only collaborations for which there is no bookmark indicator to hide the collaborations for which a bookmark was created using the Copy as Bookmark function in the collaboration overview.
¡ Additional filter criteria
These criteria allow you to limit your selection of collaborations by the activities performed in the collaboration, such as collaborations in which folders were created or deleted.
You always choose the Collaborations for which the selected Additional Filter Criteria do not apply filter criterion together with another additional filter criterion if you want to reverse the effect of that criterion on the selection, for example, Collaborations in which no folders have been created or deleted.
· Status profiles
For status profiles, you can only use general filter criteria.
· User groups
For user groups, you can also only use general filter criteria.
To use the table filter, choose Table Filter: Off in the overview screen of your collaborations, status profiles, or user groups and then select The required table is filtered according to the following criteria:. You can then enter the filter criteria you require and choose Save.
The overview now contains only the objects that meet the filter criteria.
To reset the table filter, choose Table Filter: On in the overview screen of your collaborations, status profiles, or user groups and select The required table is not filtered at present. Save your entries.
All the objects reappear in your overview.
