Web Applications: Development News Bucket Overview  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Here, you can view and edit an existing bucket. In most cases you can edit existing data by overwriting it with the new data.

To expand/collapse all trays: Click the overlapping triangles icon at the top right.

To expand/collapse individual trays: Click icon at the top right of respective tray.

General Information

Here, you can view or change information about the bucket in the fields described below.

Bucket Name

Mandatory

View or change the name of the bucket.

External ID

Mandatory

This is a unique identifier for the bucket and cannot be modified.

Description

Optional

View or edit the description.

Parent Name

System Generated

Here the name of the parent bucket is displayed. This cannot be modified.

Date Created

Updated by the system

This field displays the date on which this bucket was created.

Last Update

Updated by system

This field displays the date on which this bucket was last updated.

Updated by

Updated by the system

This field displays the user who last updated the bucket. 

Status

Mandatory

Select from the drop down menu whether the bucket is Active or Inactive

Bucket Review Count

Updated by System

The number of reviews associated with the bucket, is displayed.

Bucket Item count

Updated by System

The number of items created within the current bucket, is displayed.

Financial and Capacity Planning Settings

Here you can view or change the financial and capacity planning attributes about the bucket in the fields described below.

Capacity planning start date

Mandatory

View or change the date from which the resources for all items (projects) within this bucket need to be monitored. Change the date manually or use the date picker icon next to the field to specify the date. 

Capacity Planning End Date

Mandatory

View or change the date up to which the resources for all items (projects) within this bucket need to be monitored.  Change the date manually or click on the date picker icon next to the field to specify the date.

Period Breakdown

Optional

View or change the period by selecting new value from the drop down menu.

Capacity Unit

Mandatory

View or change the time unit by selecting new value from drop down menu. 

Financial Planning Start Date

Mandatory

View or change the date from which financial planning for all items (projects) within this bucket should be initiated. Enter the date manually or click on the date picker icon next to the field to specify the date.

Financial Planning End Date

Mandatory

View or change the date up to which the financial planning for all items (projects) within this bucket should be initiated. Enter the date manually or click on the date picker icon next to the field to specify the date.

Currency

Mandatory

View or change the currency by selecting new value from drop down menu.

Authorizations

Here, you can add or remove users and change their authorizations to access the portfolio.  The inherited users cannot be deleted. It is necessary to provide some authorization to each user. Certain users shall inherit authorization to the bucket due to authorization at the parent object. To view the inherited user list, click Show/hide users with inherited authorizations.

       1.      Click Add User Manually. 

       2.      Use the Quick look up to select the business partner to whom you wish to provide access. 

To Remove a User

...

       1.      Click the box to the left of the user name. 

       2.      Choose Remove.

       1.      Check appropriate boxes under Admin, Owner, Read orWrite. 

       2.      Click the icon at the top right corner of the tray to display the description of each authorization. 

Comments

This is an optional field. You may add comments relevant to the bucket. The comments box on the right is updated upon Save.

Here, you may view or change questionnaires or scoring models associated with the fields under the Standard Fields tab page and the active questionnaires under the Decision point fields tab page.

         Choose Save to save the changes and get back to the previous screen.
