Process documentation Item Version Management  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Purpose

Portfolio items (item) that are managed in the portfolio have certain decision points. Once a decision point is reached, you can create a version or snapshot.

 

Process Flow

...

       1.      As the portfolio manager, you enter the required data for the item version which includes information about the version type and the original item.

       2.      The system displays the item version after the item creation.

       3.      The system saves the version in the version history.

 

Result

You have created a version of the item that you can retrieve later again.
