Features

This iView enables project managers to review capacity planning at bucket level when it is accessed in the portfolio management context. (Capacity planning is also available for planning at item level when it is accessed from the portfolio item context.)

Once accessed, there are the following capacity planning views:

Capacity Categories	Display only
Capacity Planning: Category Groups	A drill down, this can be updated

By clicking a specific Capacity Category link, you can see the details of the category in the Capacity Planning: Category Groups view.

The Capacity Categories view allows you to display the data for the categories per planning period. You can navigate the columns or periods.

The Capacity Planning: Category Groups view shows the details of a category, that is, the data for the groups. In this view, you can do the following:

·         Navigate within the columns

·         Update the data and the custom fields

·         Add additional planning periods

·         Copy groups

·         Delete copied groups

If you are in the what-if scenario context, to compare the scenario capacity planning data with the total simulated items in the scenario or the original items in the scenario, click Compare to Simulated and Original.

 

Prerequisites

The bucket navigation pane must be installed.

Optional Settings

The default span can be set for the required number of columns or periods shown at start up.
