This release of SAP POS allows a receipt to have three lines for the receipt identifier where free text can be entered. Wildcards can be used to display specific fields such as store number, terminal number, transaction number, date/time, cashier name/number. This provides improved control and flexibility on the types and location of receipt identification information.
When the three receipt identifier lines are defined, the Electronic Journal will show both the default receipt footer and the configured receipt footer. Reprinted receipts will contain both the default and the configured receipt footer. Searching will continue to use the default receipt footer format.
To define the types and location of the receipt identification information, go to the Terminal
tab of the Configurator and choose Register Parameters
and then go to the Receipt Options
tab. In the Custom
Transaction Identification Lines
section, define the Identification Lines 1:
through 3:
.
The following wildcard characters are supported:
%s (Store Number)
%r (Register Number)
%t (Transaction Number)
%tm (Time)
%d (Date)
%c (Cashier Number)
