The options in the Phone And Common tab are used to setup the First Data credit service.

Structure

Screen Element

Description

Store

A number that identifies the store.

Region

The region in which the store resides.

Service Name

Specifies the credit service provider name.

Application ID

Specifies the application type.

Values are:

  • Single Authorization

  • Multiple Authorization

Valuelink Merchant ID

A number that identifies the merchant if the voucher agent is ValueLink.

Bank ID

A non-zero acquirer bank identification number.

Merchant ID

Specifies the number that identifies the merchant.

Connection Type

Specifies the type of connection to use.

The values are:

  • DATAWIRE

  • DIAL

  • DIRECT

  • SOCKET

Datawire

Screen Element

Description

Datawire ID

Datawire ID provided by Datawire.

Terminal ID

Specifies the terminal ID.

Primary URL

Specifies the primary URL connection string.

Secondary URL

Specifies the secondary URL connection string

Proxy

Specifies the Datawire HTTP proxy server.

Merchant ID

Specifies the number that identifies the merchant.

Application ID

Specifies the Datawire provided Application ID.

Phone Numbers And Network Logon

No Of Phone Numbers

Specifies the number of phone numbers to dial.

Phone Number 1

Specifies the first phone number to dial.

Phone Number 2

Specifies the second phone number to dial.

Phone Number 3

Specifies the third phone number to dial.

No Of Retries

Specifies the dial retries.

Logon 1

Specifies the network logon 1.

Logon 2

Specifies the network logon 2.

Logon 3

Specifies the network logon 3.

Time Out (T.O.) Settings

Connect T.O.

Connect timeout in milliseconds.

Wait ENQ T.O.

Wait ENQ timeout in milliseconds.

Wait ACK T.O.

Wait ACK timeout in milliseconds.

Wait STX T.O.

Wait STX timeout in milliseconds.

Send Retry

Maximum number of retransmissions allowed per message.

SYN After ENQ T.O.

Timeout to transmit a SYN after receiving an ENQ in milliseconds.

Total Response T.O

Total response timeout during a message receiving in milliseconds.

ICT T.O.

During receiving, inter-character timeout in milliseconds.

Receive Retry

Maximum number of re-receiving allowed per message.
