Depending on the nature of a transaction or the items sold in the transaction sometimes a customer may require an invoice for a sale transaction in addition to , or instead of, a transaction receipt. The SAP Configurator application allow you to configure an invoice for a send sale transaction by using the user-defined transaction options.
The UDT send sale invoice printing feature can be triggered in any transaction that requires an invoice. The invoice printing UDT can be accessed through a menu option on the POS screen, or through a hotkey button on the keyboard.
To configure invoice printing, you will need to configure a UDT with the following specifics.
Configure the UDT to use an Auto-Generated Reference number. This auto-generated reference number will print the Folio number on the invoice. See the Auto Generate Reference Configuration Screen for more information.
Configure the UDT to capture customer information at the POS, or to initiate a customer lookup. The following customer information is required:
Customer name
Address
Telephone number
RFC number (Fiscal Identification Number).
Based on how the Customer Database Profile Setting
is
configured for the corresponding manager code, the customer information may
be retrieved from a centralized database.

in
the POS.INI
