The Additional Information parameters allow you to further define discounts for loyalty redemption, UDT, auto discount prompts, and birthday discounts.

Structure

Loyalty Redemption Parameters

Loyalty ID

Identification number of the loyalty program you would like to activate

Threshold Points

Shows the minimum number of points the program member must acquire before they can request a redemption

Point Redemption Minimum

Indicates minimum points required to perform a redemption

Redeem By Fixed Points

Shows the number of points removed from the program member’s account for a redemption

Prompt for $ Amount

Indicates that the application must prompt for the point value of a redemption. The point value is the financial equivalent of one point.

Free Membership Renewal

Allows you to configure a free membership renewal with no associated SKU added to the transaction

Redeem All Available Points

Uses all the points available in the member’s account for a redemption and resets the points' balance in the account to zero

Description

UDT — Auto Discount Prompt At Start of Txn

Indicates that an auto discount only prompts for the discount value once at the beginning of the transaction.

Birthday Discount

Allows you to configure a discount for customers based on their birth date.

  • By days — Triggers a birthday discount in a defined number of days before or after a customer’s birthday

  • By month — Triggers a discount anytime in the customer’s birthday month
