Change POS Language During Shift
The SAP POS language support feature provides a function called Change Language
that allows a cashier to change the system working language during a shift. This is activated through manager code 433. The available languages are those into which the application
has been formally translated.
Note
The preferred language setting and the option to choose a language at signon affect only the interface that the employee sees. Any customer-facing interfaces such as the customer display, peripheral equipment such as the electronic signature capture device, printed media, TLog, or database data remain in the default language of the store. Additionally, any information captured at the POS or the Store Manager applications, or any defined policies remain in the main language of the store.
This function cannot be activated in the middle of a transaction.
