You use this function to define the basic settings for your inventory features. You use the inventory features to track merchandise inventory levels by calculating the ending balance of an item after a completed sale or an order pick up. The ending balances can be found in a PLU (Price Look-Up) . You can also use the inventory feature to keep track of inventory levels after transactions such as purchase orders, stock receipt, store transfers, physical inventory or inventory adjustments are performed.
