Encryption Components
Screen Element	Description
Encryption ID	Identifies the encryption algorithm
Description	Provides a description of the algorithm
Start	Identifies the position of the first number in the seed number. The system creates seed numbers from the automatically generated reference number and uses seed numbers to ensure randomization when creating an encryption algorithm.
Length	Defines the total length of the seed number
Value	A static number, which can be a number from the seed number. See the Start field above Note Not required if the Start field below is specified. End of the note.
Start	A number that represents the position of a digit from the seed number that you want to use with a check digit in the encryption component Note Not required if the Value field above is specified. End of the note.
Length	Defines the length of the seed number that you are using with a check digit
Check Digit	Provides options for the check digit that you want to use with the part of the seed number that you have defined in the Start and Length fields. Check digits are defined in the Check digit table. For more information, see Check Digit Setup.
