Record Type N7: Non-Merchandise Sale Updated Tax Fields (Part 5)
Longer tax amount fields (in 6.2n format) are supported in the N7 record. The extensible fields are marked with Y in the Can Be Extended column. For Real Time Trickle TLOGS, use the following in the POS.INI:
CVTLOG_EXTENDED_TAX_FIELDS=Y
For CVTLOG.EXE, use option –xt
for conversion.

If the item has multiple taxes applied, based on the tax type enabled, the POS Xpress will write the tax amount to the corresponding tax_value
field in the N7 record in the Transaction Log file.
