The SAP Help Portal provides information on the various applications in the SAP Point-of-Sale (SAP POS) component. To access this information, you must navigate to the help portal site through a Web browser.
With this release, SAP POS provides direct access to the help portal in the Configurator
application through menu options and the F1
function key. This allows you to connect directly from a screen to the relevant SAP Help Portal
topic page.
Effects on Configuration
SAP continues to deliver help content on the installation CD that can be copied to the local machine or accessed from the CD-ROM provided with the installation set. However the default configuration is to access the SAP Help Portal through the Web browser. You can change the default setting
to access the local documentation files by modifying the SAPDOCCD.ini
file after the SAP POS installation is completed.
