This release of SAP POS has been enhanced to allow for pre-configured departments to display a line entry on the receipt for the total amount of items which were entered on the POS for that department. The individual items for this department will not be displayed. All items not part of the pre-defined departments will be displayed in the standard way.
If you would like to enable this option chain wide, select Product Hierarchy
from the PLU
tab of the Configurator, then select Receipt Group
to define the Receipt Group ID
and Description
.
Select Product Hierarchy
from the PLU
tab of the Configurator again and then select Department
. From the Department Search Window
, select the appropriate Department
and
then from the Department Maintenance
window, select Receipt Group Description
the from the Receipt Group:
drop down list.
If you would like to enable this feature in a store only, select File Maintenance

, Dept Number
from the Store Manager to define the Receipt Group
