The system allows you to define three standard menus for a POS terminal:
Main Menu
– Lists options that are available at the start of a sale before an item is entered
Item Menu
– Lists options that are available either once an item has been entered at the POS or the transaction has otherwise been started
Tender Menu
– Lists options available during tendering to be displayed when the cashier presses Total on the POS terminal
Note
You must define all of the options and functions you want to use within a standard menu, such as Discounts
and Non Merchandise
items, before you can access then and add them to the menu definition.
These options allow you to define the functions available within a standard menu. Employees working at the POS terminal access standard menus.
