Use this procedure to export a generated report to a file that can be used by other applications.
Note
To export reports your authority level must be level 5.
To export a report:
Generate the report as described in Generating Reports.
Click Export
. The Export/Send Report
dialog appears.
Under Drive
, select the location of the disk where the export file will be saved. The current list of available folders you can use appears under File List
.
Do one of the following:
To create a new folder in which to save the report, click Folder
, type the name of the folder, and then double-click the folder name
Note
To create sub-folders within the folder you just created, repeat the steps above.
To use an existing folder, under File List
, double-click a folder.
Under File Name
, type the name for the export file.
Under File Type
, select the type of file that you want to create.
If you want to include the column headings and the report title in the export file, click Including column headings
.
Click Export
.
