This release of SAP POS allows additional control over two digit years for card expiry date handling. This enables retailers in some regions that have branded credit cards with an expiry date of 12/99. These 12/99 expiry dates indicate that the card does not expire.
Effects on Configuration
If you choose to enable this feature, set the EXPIRYYEARAFTER2000
to Y
in the POS.INI
in order to assume that all two digit credit card expiry dates are after the year 2000.
