Multiple quantity pricing a method of Mix Match pricing except the information that is printed on the receipt and recorded in the journal file shows each item in the Mix Match represented only by its individual price.
Example
You have a Mix Match promotion consisting of six items for $2.99. When you print the receipt, the price of the first five items prints as 50 cents each while the price of the last item prints as 49 cents, to equal $2.99.
You can configure multiple quantity pricing either as individually priced item or as a multiple quantity price.

To create a multiple quantity method using individual sell prices:
Create a Mix Match pricing scheme.
On the bottom portion of the MixMatch Maintenance
screen,
enter 1 in each Alt
field
that is part of the pricing promotion.
Using our example,
enter 1 in Alt 1
through Alt

Determine the unit Sell Price
. This
should be an equal amount for each unit, with the last unit making up the
difference.
Using our example, 6 items at $2.99 equal 5 items at $.50 and 1 item at $.49.
Enter the Sell Price
unit value
for each item in the group other than the last item.
Using
our example, enter $.50 as the Sell
Price
for Alt 1
through Alt
5

Enter a Sell Price
value for the
last item so that individual units add up to the quantity price.
Using our example, enter $.49 as the Sell
Price

Choose Save
, then choose Close
.
The customer’s receipt will show items 1 through 5 at a price of 50 cents each, and the 6th item at a price of 49 cents.
