Price Batch Management

The Price Batch Management feature allows you to update multiple PLU records with the same information at one time. Batch records can be created through the host system or through the Store Manager application. The Batch Management Maintenance parameters allow you to define the information to include in the batch file and the fields to edit in the Store Manager application.

Structure

To define the PLU fields to update through the Price Batch Management feature, copy the PLU using drag and drop File elements from the Attribute List to the Attribute Field.

Screen Element	Description
Entity	Identifies the data to be exported. The value of this field is always set to PLU.
Entity Type	The Entity Type field value is always set to Basic. A basic entity type means that attributes are hard-coded. These fields are found in the PLU File.
Attribute	A price element to be included in the batch file. This field is populated by dragging and dropping your selection from the Attribute List. The attributes are hard-coded in the PLU File.
Allow Store Update	When this option is enabled you allow the PLU field to be edited at the store. Set this for each attribute as required.
