This release of SAP POS has been enhanced to provide the ability to disable prompting for the entry of a password for the Clock In/ Clock Out functions when the employee number is either scanned or swiped. If the employee number is manually entered then the regular process of prompting for a password is still required.
The method used for clocking in and out will be printed in the TLOG and Journal when this feature is enabled.
If you choose to enable this feature, the following Configurator options must be selected:
Select Register Parameters
from the Terminal
tab of the Configurator and then select the Employee/Supervisor
tab. From this tab in the Register Parameters Maintenance
window
Select the Disable Clock In Out Password:
checkbox.
Select the Strip Leading Zeros from Scanned Employee Numbers for Clock In/Out:
checkbox. This will strip the leading zeros and remove the check digit of the employee number obtained from the scanned data.
Select Register Parameters
from the Terminal
tab of the Configurator and then select the Min/Max Digits
tab. From this tab in the Register Parameters Maintenance
window,
set the appropriate minimum and maximum digits for the Employee #:
.
