    The Department Maintenance window appears.

  2. For the department you specified, select the desired group in the Receipt Group dropdown list and then select Save.

Result

When the POS is at the stage of printing the receipt, it checks the department information for the item. If the department is defined as having a group, the total output for that group is calculated and printed on the receipt with the group description. The department for that group is flagged as being processed. The items continue to print on the receipt, skipping any from groups that have been processed and processing any additional groups when encountered.
