---|---|
Area | IS-R-TGM |
Country Relevance | Valid for all countries |
This release of SAP POS supports up to an eight digit cashier number and salesperson number.
For TLOG records that contain a header record with the cashier and/or salesperson number, a two high order digit field (CX
for cashier number extension and SX
for salesperson number extension) is appended. If the cashier or salesperson
number that is entered is greater than six digits, the extended cashier or salesperson number will be split into the original cashier or salesperson number field, and the new extended field (i.e. CX
for cashier and SX
for salesperson high order
digits).
Example
If the cashier or salesperson number is “12345678”, CX
or SX
will contain “12” and the original cashier or salesperson number field will contain “345678”.
If you choose to change the number of digits supported for the cashier and salesperson number:
Select Register Parameters
from the Terminal
tab of the Configurator and then select the Min/Max Digits
tab. From this tab in the Register Parameters Maintenance
window,
update the MIN
and MAX
digits for Cashier ID:
and Salesperson #:
.
Select Employee
from the Administration
tab of the Configurator and then select Employee
. On the Employee Maintenance
window, the Cashier ID:
and Salesperson
ID:
will only allow values between the defined minimum and maximum digits.
