You use the transaction fee parameters to specify criteria such as the minimum or maximum fee amounts for the overall transaction. You can also define different fees at various transaction levels.

Identifies the transaction fee

Description

Description of the transaction fee

Transaction Fee Group

Provides the transaction group to which this transaction definition belongs. Transaction fee groups allow several fee options to be displayed as a group. This allows the cashier to choose the appropriate fee from the group list provided.

Minimum Amount

Provides the minimum fee amount

Maximum Amount

Provides the maximum fee amount

Fixed Amt

Provides the fixed fee amount

Fixed %

Provides the fixed fee percentage

Enable Zero Fee

Allows a fee with a value of $0.00

Threshold, Fee Amount, Fee %

Defines various fee levels by amount or percentage fee. You set up a fee for each level as required.

Apply Type

Indicates how the fee should be applied

Allow Override

Allows the cashier to override the fee

Allow Tax Override

Allows the cashier to override the tax

The following options are activated when you select the Allow Override or Allow Tax Override options.

Supervisor Key Required

Indicates that a supervisor key override is required to change the transaction fee

Password Required

Indicates that a cashier password is required to change the transaction fee

Authority Level

Indicates that the cashier must have the required authority level to change the transaction fee. If the cashier does not have the necessary authority level, a supervisor sign-on is required.
