State Province Codes

The State / Province Maintenance screen contains a list of State or Province codes and their descriptions. This screen within the Configurator allows you to maintain a custom State / Province list that can be exported to the POS. The POS will use this list during a terminal define and when performing a profile validation on a State/Prov. Abbrev. mask type.

Structure

Screen Element	Description
Abbreviation	A 2 character code representing a State or a Province. Example BC End of the example.
Description	A description or the full name of the Sate or Province. Example British Columbia End of the example.

If a custom State / Province List has not been created, the POS will use the default State / Province list. The default list contains the following entries:
