The Sign On
tab page lets you set options such as the POS requirements for, and response to, a register opening for the day and a cashier’s logon. Customize any of the following options to configure logon parameters for the register.

Specifies the duration of inactivity at the POS (in minutes) before a lock out window is displayed and the user is locked out. The minimum setting is 1 minute; the maximum is 999. A value of zero does not activate this feature. In the event that the cashier who was signed on to the register at the time of the lock out is unavailable to sign back on, any user with supervisory authority can sign on to the register and resume or cancel the transaction. Allows the POS Client to support up to a maximum of four cash boxes per cash drawer. When configured to automatically assign a cash drawer, the POS Client determines the next available cash box found in a) cash drawer one (if only one cash drawer is configured), or b) one of the two cash drawers (if two cash drawers are configured). The POS Client is configured to use cash drawers using Manager Code 2 which allows you to select the hardware device that the POS Client interfaces with. |
