Procedure

This feature allows you to display a customer's purchase history during their transation. This allows cashiers to see how much the customer has spent in the past and encourage them to maintain their usual shopping levels or entice them to spend more.

Note Note

This feature assumes that you are already using a defined customer database. Manager code 431 has been created to support this feature. However, you must manually enable the code to turn this feature on.

  1. On the POS Configuration Menu screen, choose Code Maintenance.

  2. Choose POS MGR Functions.

  3. Choose New.

  4. In the Mgr Code field, type 431.

  5. In the Function field, enter a name that identifies the Customer Purchase History function at the POS.

    Note Note

    The value that you enter here also appears directly on the POS menu button that has a maximum width of 20 characters. You can enter an abbreviation such as ‘Cust Purch Hist’ or something similar.
