Procedure

A balance has a pending status until you complete it.

You cannot modify a completed balance, but you can void it. If you find an error in a completed balance you must void the balance and create a new one, however you must ensure that you perform the void on the same Business Date. For information about voiding a balance, see Voiding a Balance.

To complete a balance:

  1. On the Main Menu, click Cash Management.

  2. Click the appropriate safe.

  3. Click POS Balance. The pending, completed, deleted, and voided balances appear in the window.

  4. Click the balance that you want to complete, and then click Open. The POS Balance Maintenance window displays the balance information.

  5. Click Balance.

  6. Click Complete, and then click Exit.
