A where-used list enables you to determine who is using specific objects, and thereby make the dependencies between the objects clear.

Features

The where-used list for objects in the Integration Directory is subdivided into the following screen areas.

Description

Collaboration Profile Objects

Displays the communication parties, communication components, and communication channels in which the object is used.

Object of the logical routine and communication agreement

Displays the receiver determinations, interface determinations, sender agreements and receiver agreements in which the object is used.

The key attributes and object type are displayed in a table (with a symbol, see Legend (Configuration)).

Scenario Objects

Displays the configuration scenarios in which the object is used.

The where-used list also displays if the object for which the where-used list was called is contained in the object key of another object.

Activities

You can call the where-used list as follows:

  • Select the object in the navigation area and in the main menu bar choose   Object   Where-Used List   ()

  • Select the object in the navigation area, call the context menu, and choose Where-Used List ()

  • Open the object and in the main menu bar of the object editor choose   <Object>   Where-Used List   ().

The where-used list containing the users of the selected or open object is displayed.

To display the users of a different object, in the Where-Used List For field, first select the object type from the dropdown list box and then use input help to select the required object. The where-used list for this object is then displayed.
