The following data types describe parts of the interface that are the same for all configuration object types.

You find these data types in the Common folder.

Cross-Object-Type Elements

Data Type

Description

ObjectAdministrativeData

Describes the administrative information for reading access.

These are for example:

  • User responsible for an object (ResponsibleUserAccountID)

  • Last changed by (LastChangeUserAccountID)

  • Last changed on (LastChangeDateTime)

RestrictedObjectAdministrativeData

Describes the administrative information for read access.

Here you can only specify the user who is responsible for the object (ResponsibleUserAccountID) while the system sets the last changed by value and the date of the last changes.

This restriction prevents any possibly unwanted external manipulations.

LogMessageCollection

Groups together the possible error messages for all of the object types.

Error messages contain an object-type dependent part and a generic part, which is the same for all object types.

For more information, see: Error Handling

DesignObjectID

Specifies a reference to a design object in the ES Repository.

Consists of the following elements:

  • Name: Specifies the name of the design object (mandatory entry).

  • Namespace: Specifies the namespace of the design object (mandatory entry).

  • SoftwareComponentVersionID: Specifies the ID of the software component version.

For more information, see: Defining Object References
