In this section you will find a summary of the tasks and configuration objects that are required when you want to configure communication using the Advanced Adapter Engine. The graphic shows that you can perform most of the configuration in one single configuration object: integrated configuration.

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

Defining a collaboration profile

In the collaboration profile you specify which components communicate with each other and what their technical communication capabilities are.

Defining the integrated configuration

In the integrated configuration you specify the complete configuration of message processing using the Advanced Adapter Engine.

Thereafter you only need one single object, whereas you need multiple configuration objects (sender agreement, receiver determination, interface determination, receiver agreement) for configuring communication with the Integration Server.

Integrated configuration
